Do Something Else: change the plan without losing the plan

A great park day leaves room to be spontaneous. Sometimes you’re just not feeling the thing you planned, and sometimes your kid spots the teacups and nothing else matters. The question was always what saying yes would do to the rest of your day. Until now, you couldn’t know.

We’ve added a Do Something Else button to help you with this exact scenario.

Tap it and you get every alternative that’s live right now, not just the attractions you prioritized: anything operating in the park, each with the real walk time from where you’re standing and the wait you’d face when you get there. Badges surface the good bets, whatever’s a Must do from your list, Nearby, or a Low wait. Shows list their next showtime, including ones you can still make. And if you’re about to stand in line for something you already hold a Lightning Lane for, it says so before you waste it.

The toggle at the top decides what happens to the plan: Instead of swaps out the activity you’re skipping, while Before squeezes your pick in and keeps the original next stop. Either way, your pick slots into the plan, and if it doesn’t fit simply, you can re-optimize to see whether your day can be rejigged to fit it. You’re not going off-plan; the plan comes with you.

It works the other way too: finish something early with time to spare, and the same flow helps you find something worth doing before your next commitment.
